About Me

Welcome to my blog and thank you for reading! My name is Saneta Lin and I am currently a 6th year (last year!) pharmacy student. God has given me the opportunity to go on missions this upcoming September to Zambia, Africa as a missionary pharmacist. Please explore the site to find out more!

"You are making a $100,000 mistake"  -Resident from a hospital

To the outside world, going on missions right after I graduate is probably the most ridiculous and most stupid thing someone could do right out of pharmacy school. Since I've started sharing with other people about what I wanted to do after graduation, I've gotten multiple comments of how bad the job market is/how I won't get a job when I come back or how much money I'm losing by doing this. But this isn't about me. This is about Jesus. It's about furthering God's kingdom and cultivating disciples from all different nations. It's about pushing myself to become the hands and feet of Christ, though I'm still so self-centered and selfish. And so it may look like a mistake to the world, but it is worth it.

"But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— "

- Philippians 3:7-9
